From Germany, we moved to Japan in the summer of 1980, and Lannay and her husband, Doug, visited us there, too, in 1981. I should have a photo of the two of them together there, but I haven't found a good one yet.
From Japan, we moved to Hawaii. Lannay and Doug visited us there, and this photo was taken in the strong winds at Pali Lookout on the island of Oahu, where we lived, in the summer of 1984.
Both Japan and Hawaii were good tours for us, six years we all enjoyed, and we were glad that some of our family were able to visit us. During those years, Leif was moody at times, especially in Hawaii, but seemed to be a normal, happy child. Each time Lannay came was special.
